Dewey woman reportedly throws disabled mom from wheelchair
Mistie Lynn Jackson

DEWEY – A 36-year-old Dewey woman was charged with domestic assault and battery in Washington County District Court after a Saturday night dispute in which she allegedly grabbed her disabled mother by the hair and threw her out of a wheelchair, bit her sister and struck a child.
The Washington County District Attorney’s Office filed two charges of domestic assault in the presence of a minor against Mistie Lynn Jackson, who was arrested following an attack at a home in the 300 Block of South Choctaw Avenue. Associate District Judge Russell Vaclaw set a $2,500 bond in the case and ordered Jackson not to contact the victims.
When police arrived at the home around 9:45 p.m., officers found Jackson’s mother – who is paralyzed from the chest down – lying on the floor crying. According to a police affidavit, Jackson grabbed her mother by the hair, threw her on the floor, slammed her head into the ground and kicked her in the face.
Jackson’s sister intervened in the attack, pulling her off of the paralyzed woman. Jackson allegedly then bit her sister's left breast leaving a large bruise and removing skin, the affidavit stated.
Jackson also allegedly struck a child who was in the home at the time, leaving marks on the girl’s forearm. Jackson left the home on foot after the attack and returned while police were searching the neighborhood for her. She hid in a closet until officers arrested her, the affidavit stated.
Family members told police Jackson was intoxicated at the time of the
assaults.

I just apologized to my adult son. I thought he was awful. He didn't help me search for some papers as he promised, and I pouted all day.

Seriously, evil knows no bounds. Prison would help her manage her life.

I would never trust a adult woman named Mistie.
An exception would be if Mistie and Bambie were employed by an late hours gentlemen's club with a pole.

I hope this drunk woman never becomes a mother if she treat her mother like that how is she going to treat her children? and 2,500.00 is not enough bond for what she did

What is she smiling about in the picture? She should be charged with child abuse also.

I wonder what her mom did to tick her off?
Regardless of what it was, you have to be oretty low down to physically harm your mom.
Shame on you, lady!

Been happily sh--faced a time or two - got stupid like drunks tend to, but don't recall ever losing my grip on the evolutionary ladder. What ever's wrong with that woman needs to be addressed asap or there's a homicide in her future.

Lock her up for 20 years. Maybe she'll learn her lesson. Don't blame it being drunk. It's not an excuse.

I'm sure Mistie inherited this problem from George Bush.

Reading this story and trying to grasp the anger in this woman - I couldn't help but think of Dusty Outlaw.
Has one of our regulars been arrested?

The way all you Okies think and act, I guess its okay to abuse your elderly mother or father or beat yo wife as long as you are "intoxicated at the time of the assault"!!
This information should be totally irrelevant. Assault and battery of another is wrong wrong, but some bleeding heart Okie judge will let her use this as a defense for her actions.
She is totally deplorable and should get many years of hard labor and confinement in the state prison!!!!!!!

This sounds like the kind of person that has an issue with anger when they drink, mean drunk. I doubt she will have any bad feelings about what she did when sober. It's a character issue. Throw the book at her, she's a violent bully.
