Lahoma man killed in accident
By AP Wire Services

GOLTRY, Okla. — Authorities say a Lahoma man was killed when his pickup truck collided with another truck on an Alfalfa County road.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 45-year-old Gentry Dean Brakhage died at the scene of the accident near Goltry about 9:50 a.m. Thursday.
Troopers believe Brakhage's truck was headed east toward an intersection and a truck driven by 46-year-old Troy Baumgardner was traveling north when Brakhage failed to yield at the stop sign.
The patrol says the impact caused Brakhage's truck to roll, throwing him out.
Baumgardner, of Carrier, was treated at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid for head injuries and released.
The patrol says neither man was wearing a seat belt.

Are you kidding me

I see On a DAILY basis, at least 3 people run a solid red light. Not yellow lights that turn red while they are under them, SOLID red lights. If you are in that big of a hurry people that you cant wait for a 5 minute red light then leave EARLIER. Why do people think it is ok for them to put other peoples lives in danger because they are idiots and cant wait for a red light? I do feel for the guys family but come on. At least he didnt kill Mr. Baumgardner.

bumgardner. Huh sounds like he got lucky. Good chance he's related to actor James Gardner.

First of all, there was no light. Second of all there was no stop sign. If you have to "bash" someone who just lost their life, then you truly are a cruel person. If you feel the need to gripe about someone's driving skills, an article about someone who was just killed in a car accident isn't the place. This isn't a movie or a television show. This is real life. Someone's father, brother, uncle, and friend was killed in a car accident and his family and friends are mourning.
