Separate trials being sought
By AP Wire Services

LAWTON, Okla. — The lawyer for a man accused in the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy has asked a Comanche County judge that is client be tried separately from his co-defendant.
Defense attorney Jerry Herberger filed a motion Thursday to sever the cases of his client, Maurice Tubbs, and Jeremy McKindra, who are charged with first-degree murder in the April 5 drive-by shooting of Hikeem Lambirth.
Authorities say Hikeem was asleep on a sofa at the home of his mother's boyfriend when someone fired shots into the residence. One bullet ripped through his chest.
At the preliminary hearing, a police detective testified that during questioning, McKindra indicated he was with Tubbs in his car when Tubbs rolled down the window and fired a weapon.

This leaves many questions?
My main question, what did this boyfriend do, to have people shooting at his house?
I am not against trying them separately.

I heard Obama already said that it doesn't matter if they are tried separately because he already knows the jury will find them guilty and impose the death penalty.

You know, maybe gang members and drug dealers ought to have to undergo involuntary sterilization. If you're going to kill off each others familes, and for God's sake, their children, maybe you shouldn't be allowed to have children. This is disgusting, and unfortunately, seems to have become the norm in Oklahoma, and I'm sure elsewhere as well. My advice to young women and men out there... if you believe your significant other is into gang stuff, don't have children with them.... it's a losing battle, apparently that child is going to pay the price one way or another.

Mzvtul it's a random act of sterilization. We have Ronald McRegan to thank for this. It was his brilliant idea during his regeime to import vast quantities (mamuel noriega) of coccaine into the USA. His prime objective was to target black families and destroy their family units. Free basing coke was too expensive for the average low income African American and that's how they came up with crak coccaine. By adding baking soda(co2) to coke the baking soda oxidises the coke when they burn together causing intense euphoria increased heart rate and libido stimulation Then presto chango his plan started to work. The profits that came from coke sales were used to illeagally purchase weapons from the Iranian govt which was under embargo. This creating a windfall of more weapons and munitions. These were supplied to the rebel army of Nicaragua. Giving them the arms needed to overthrow the incumbent government. President Regan did his best to lead our nation into "Death Valley Days"
The pure irony was that his wife led "The War On Drugs".
I'd say what I really think about scum bag Regan but it's prohibited in this forum.

re:mayor-maynot- Are you some kind of a nut, or what? Is this the right forum for your rantings? Some little kid got killed and you spew this garbage? Condolences to the family of the victim, and long prison stays for the perpetrators.

Why is he being charged if he was only a passenger in the car?
