It was unethical of Ms Fallin to have sexual relations with a taxpayer paid employee that worked for her. But I'm sure she will beat the tired "Oklahoma values" drum during her campaign for Governor. What a joke, and a bad one at that. Sigh.

I think I know this Christenson guy as a Democrat and trial lawyer.Geez, you'd think he could do better. Since Mary is owned by the insurance industry and the nut wing of her Party I assume they will never discuss politics.

It is SO refreshing to know that so many people who have made comments have NEVER done anything considered to be wrong in their entire lives! CONGRATULATIONS to this new couple and I hope they have MANY years of happiness together. What does her marriage have to do with politics? This comment is posted by a REGISTERED DEMOCRAT.

I suppose we could all bring up Bill Clinton and Monica, too, couldn't we? NAW - their 'fling' was okay despite the humiliation that Hilary and their daughter endured from all of it.

PAN, Kudos to you, from a registered "conservative" I couldn't have said it better myself. I've spoken with Ms. Fallin (Christensen) enough to be on a first name basis with her. I've found her to be an intelligent individual and frank and honest with who she is, unlike many on this commentary who must lead such shallow lives they can only snipe at others from the sidelines. If I might suggest, many here should read, John 8:7, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her".
Fitting verse, don't you think?

Yes indeed, ol feller - that is a very fitting verse. I, too, use to speak with Mary Fallin in a position that I held with a local business and found her to be a very honest, intelligent individual who truly has the best interests of the people at heart. She is honest and very open. We need MORE people like Mary Fallin in our government today. Perhaps the country or at least some of the states could make some progress once again. I believe she is a person who can lead our state forward instead of leaving it stagnant or taking it backward. I will be praying for her success and promoting her candidacy whole heartedly.
I will end my comment with a gentle reminder to all - please read John 8:7 (as ol feller suggested) and really think about what it says. It just might improve your life and you just might be a little happier for it. God Bless All. Thank you and may God Bless you, ol feller.

I forgot to mention, ol feller, that my husband and I are leaving the Democratic party and registering as conservative or Republican. We are still discussing which it will be. I can no longer remain in the party I have been in for the last 40 years. It is not what it use to be; it has changed for the worse. My heart is just not in that party anymore and even more than that, my conscience and heart will not allow me to stay in it. We need all conservatives to speak out and support a party that still has some true morals and good values in order to turn this country back around. Have a GREAT day!

Pan and Olfeller, I have sinned bunches and feel free to exercise my 1st Amendment right to cast as many stones as I wish at conniving politicians. I too have spoken with Fallin and found her to be dim, shallow, anti-intellectual, anti-consumer, and anti-worker (she wants to abolish Workers Comp). In short, she is just your typical Okie "conservative."
