Shooting claims man, 34
Police say an ongoing dispute led to the death.

An ongoing dispute apparently led to a fatal shooting Saturday evening.
Officers were called about 6 p.m. to a residence in the 1000 block of North Troost Avenue where they found a 34-year-old man who had been shot one time, Tulsa Police Department Cpl. Gene Watkins said. The man later died at a local hospital.
An ongoing dispute apparently led to a confrontation and the shooting at the residence, where a party was being held, Watkins said.
Homicide detectives were interviewing witnesses late Saturday and attempting to identify the shooter, Watkins said.
The victim's name was not being released until his family could be notified.

I can't imagine getting so mad. To settle a dispute by shooting someone. But then I am the type when I think buttons are being pushed, to walk away.

I THINK this is number 62? That is unless I missed one in the last day or two. I came from a town in a different state that is much larger than Tulsa and that town is having fits because they have had SIX murders there! What is it with Tulsa? Gangs? Illegals? Race? Drugs? Religion? (I seriously doubt THAT.) Or are there just a bunch of criminal wannabe's? I'm not trying to be ornery here; I'm just trying to figure out what it is about Tulsa. There isn't all that much in Tulsa to fight about as far as I could tell in the 12 years I lived there. I am GLAD I moved to a lot smaller area 4 years ago. I sure don't intend to ever move back to Tulsa, either.

to those who think it's appropiate to make jokes when someone is killed, will you kill someone as a joke.
How many "funnies" could you come up with reguarding the deaths of your family and friends?

We have all become so 'de-sensatized' to these murders that it has become a joke. These young punks place no value on human life, not even their own.

I really don't see anyone making jokes on here. Some are expressing disgust or asking questions. That is basically what the comments are. unless I missed a joke and TW took it off.
