A Sapulpa man has been sentenced to one year and nine months in prison for burglarizing pharmacies in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri.

Sean Patrick Kelley, 38, pleaded guilty Dec. 8 to three counts of burglary of a pharmacy and one conspiracy charge.

Kelley admitted that he plotted with others to burglarize eight pharmacies and attempted to burglarize one other pharmacy from Dec. 12, 2007, until April 1, 2008.

Among those were burglaries Dec. 12, 2007, in Fairfax, Jan. 14, 2008, in Mounds and March 7, 2008, in Hominy.

The others were in Drumright, Clayton, Stratford and Noel, Mo., and Charleston, Ark. The attempted burglary was in Yale, Okla.

The document details the dollar amount of the controlled substances taken and says Kelley kept some of the hydrocodone for his personal use.

Kelley was ordered by U.S. District Judge Terence Kern on Thursday to pay $35,240.48 in restitution.

The other conspirators have not yet been charged in Tulsa federal court, Assistant U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson said.
