MANNFORD — Authorities combing the Keystone Lake area Wednesday found the body of a Tulsa man whose family reported him missing on Tuesday.

George Haralson, chief deputy for the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, said the body of Ron Leding, 56, was found in the woods a short distance north and west of the Keystone Dam.

Haralson said the body has been taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Tulsa to determine his cause of death.

He said detectives at the scene found Leding face down in the woods. He had a wound to the front of his body and a knife was found underneath him.

Haralson said it will be up to the medical examiner to determine whether the wound was self-inflicted or whether he was the victim of foul play.

Leding’s family reported him missing Tuesday to the Tulsa Police Department.

The chief deputy said a family member discovered Leding’s pickup after midnight, parked in a Keystone Dam area near where the body was found.
