Arrest made in Eakly bank robbery

HYDRO — A Hydro man was arrested Friday night, accused of robbing the Bank of Hydro in Eakly on Thursday afternoon.

Robert Gene Pigg Jr., 26, was arrested this evening without incident, FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson wrote in a news release.

Pigg may face federal bank robbery charges, Johnson said. He is accused of pointing a rifle at bank employees, stealing money and fleeing the scene in a pickup, Johnson said.

	Report Comment oufan199, Weatherford (8/1/2009 9:38:46 AM) Hydro is 8 miles east of Weatherford just north of I-40. Part of the town is in Blaine County and most of it is in Caddo County.
