RINGLING — The mother of two children who died in a Jan. 5 house fire has pleaded guilty to endeavoring to manufacture methamphetamine.

Nichola Michelle Frasier, who also faces a felony charge of child neglect, will be formally sentenced Nov. 10 on the drug charge.

Her attorney couldn't be reached Thursday for comment.

Jefferson County prosecutors allege that while Frasier was out trying to procure materials to make methamphetamine, she left her two children and her cousin, Luther Wayne Gregg, at her house, which caught fire.

Drug agents reported finding drug paraphernalia underneath a trap door, but prosecutors have said they may never know if a meth lab contributed to the fire.

Yeah, I know this is a tragic story, but if I had to live in Jefferson County, I would probably do drugs, too.

Ringling? Where is Ringling? I've never heard of it. It must be a one horse town, I mean a one traffic light town.

Sorry to hear the children died in the fire. Pathetic mother.
