Tractor driver killed in crash with train southwest of Oklahoma City

MINCO — The driver of a farm tractor died this morning in a crash involving a train south of Minco in Grady County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The victim's name was not released pending notification of his family.

The collision happened about 10:25 a.m. near the town of Pocasset, troopers said.

This is so sad. I wonder what the circumstances were.... did his tractor die on the tracks and he thought he had time to get it started or did he just not see the train coming at all? We'll probably never know.
