A sport utility vehicle filled with teenagers hit a tree and rolled, killing one of the teens, in Logan County early Sunday, authorities said.

Corbin Derr, 18, of Edmond was driving east in the rain on Simmons Road near Council when he veered off the dirt road shortly before 4 a.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

His 1999 Ford Explorer struck a tree and rolled onto its side, killing 16-year-old Kaylee Clark of Cashion. Derr was treated at a hospital and released, troopers said.

Derr was driving at an unsafe speed for the conditions, the OHP reported.

Also in the SUV were: Trevor Kinner, 17, of Cashion, who was treated and released.

Meaghen Carter, 17, of Cashion, who was treated and released.

Harley Hernandez, 16, of Cashion, who was treated and released.

Caitlin Minard, 15, of Cashion, who was hospitalized for internal injuries.

Dahir Flores, 16, of Cashion, who was not injured.

Cashion is about 33 miles north of Oklahoma City.

Im sorry to the family.

Maybe she was supposed to spending the night with the other girl and vise versa. Just a guess WideAwake. I know some of the stuff I pulled off at that age and I am very lucky to be alive today.

Seven teenagers out at 3 in the morning in an SUV...This will haunt them the rest of their lives. I wonder if alcohol was involved?
