Tulsa World Weather: Stay updated on the latest forecast with complete coverage from the Weather Channel.

Some parts of Oklahoma could see winter-like weather over the weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Cimarron and Texas counties in the Oklahoma Panhandle for early Saturday and a freeze watch for those counties and five others for Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The Panhandle also could endure a round of freezing rain Saturday night into Sunday as another storm system and cold front reinforce cooler-than-average conditions already in place.

Lows Saturday night into Sunday morning could dip as low as the middle 20s in the Panhandle, but a slow warming trend is expected to commence afterward.

On Friday, skies cleared in the west but entrenched cloud cover remained in central and eastern Oklahoma.

Temperatures ranged from 50 degrees in Enid to 59 degrees in Gage and Lawton. The mercury peaked at 51 in McAlester, Muskogee and Oklahoma City and reached 53 degrees in Stillwater and Tulsa.

Skies should be partly to mostly cloudy on Saturday, with temperatures ranging from the upper 30s in the Panhandle to the middle 60s in southern Oklahoma, forecasters said.

Light freezing rain may fall in the Panhandle Saturday night as lows range from the 20s in the Panhandle to the mid-40s in the south.

Mostly

cloudy conditions are expected to continue in the north on Sunday as a chance of freezing rain lingers early in the Panhandle. Skies should be sunny in southern Oklahoma, with temperatures ranging from the low 50s in the Panhandle to near 70 in the southeast.

The state will see a slight chance of light rain on Monday as temperatures warm into the 60s and 70s statewide. Lows should range from the 30s in the northwest to the middle 50s in the southeast, forecasters said.

A chance for showers and thunderstorms will return to the forecast on Tuesday. Temperatures should reach the 60s during the day and dip into the 40s and 50s Tuesday night.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue on Wednesday. Temperatures should peak in the 60s and 70s and fall into the 40s and 50s Wednesday night.

You're not up on your science. It is climate CHANGE.

Oh, right. We don't believe in science. We believe only what the fossil fuel industry tells us--that and their propaganda.

Oh, yeah. We believe Sen. Jim. He's the expert--the HOAX MASTER.

Even in the face of science and physical evidence to the contrary, Infoff and the conservative will not abandon the corporate world and their political contributions to join the world and acknowledge man does have an impact on the environment. It's all about business for these guys folks. All about money.

bruinsooner....Just because it is cold in Oklahoma doesn't change the fact that glaciers are melting and our oceans are degrees warmer than before. It may seem little, but these "little changes" add up and cause a big impact.
