FORT SMITH, Ark. — An Arkansas man and an Oklahoma woman have been arrested for manslaughter in the beating death of a Fort Smith man.
Fort Smith Police Sgt. Levi Risley says Robert Cheater of Fort Smith and Karrie Cheater of Muldrow are accused in the beating death of 46-year-old Daniel Bittner. Police say the Cheaters are related but did not say how.
Investigators say Bittner was beaten Sunday after insulting Karrie Cheater while drinking with the Cheater's and another person. He died Monday at Sparks Regional Medical Center.

Sounds like the Cheaters are ahead already, charged only with Manslaughter?? Sounds more like Murder 2 to me. They beat him to death. Oh but he insulted poor Miss Karrie. Wonder what she'll do when she gets insulted in the pen??

This is terrible. I wish I could understand what in the heck these people were thinking at the time of the beating. This poor poor world we live in.
