LAWTON — About 160 soldiers from Illinois and South Carolina will be honored at an early morning welcome-home ceremony at Fort Sill.

The soldiers are members of the 2nd Battalion, 238th General Support Aviation Batallion. They are scheduled to arrive about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday for a ceremony at the post's Rinehart Physical Fitness Center.

A Fort Sill spokeswoman says the troops have been deployed to the Middle East for about a year.
