The Oklahoma relatives of a U.S. Army soldier injured in Thursday’s Fort Hood, Texas, shootings said he is recovering after the attack.
"All I can tell you is that he’s making a good recovery,” said Jamie Casteel of Duncan.
Matthew Cooke, 30, was injured while trying to help a wounded comrade, said his father, Carl Cooke of Sidney, N.Y. Matthew Cooke, of Binghamton, N.Y., was shot in the back and abdomen.
Casteel is Matthew Cooke’s mother-in-law. Casteel said Matthew Cooke’s wife, Sara, didn’t want more information released at this time.

oldrustytulsa: I agree. Since it was so 'easy' for Hanan to kill and injure so many, there WILL be more. Congress, the military, etc. won't change anything due to having to be politically correct. Just be more aware of who is around you.

get well soon Matt.
Way past time to deport ALL Muslims since they seem have no inclination or desire to assimulate and become Americans, rather than crazy quik-shop and motel managers.
HOW do they ever get by the US Customs Agency??
