ROSEMOUNT, Minn. — Federal investigators will try to determine what caused an anhydrous ammonia leak that killed a truck driver and injured three other people in Rosemount. A truck driver died and another was critically injured when the ammonia leaked during loading at the CF Industries ammonia terminal Monday evening.

Rosemount Fire Chief Scott Aker tells WCCO-AM a local police officer and a Dakota County sheriff's deputy who were exposed to the ammonia were injured. They were treated and released at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

One of the truck drivers died at the scene. The other was flown by medical helicopter to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Police say both truckers were from Oklahoma.

Aker says investigators from OSHA are expected at the terminal Tuesday.
