Body discovered at vacant apartment complex in Del City after fire

DEL CITY – Fire crews discovered a body while fighting a blaze at a vacant Del City apartment complex Saturday morning.

The Del City Fire Department responded to the blaze at the vacant Eagle Point Apartment complex at about 3:30 a.m., police Capt. Jody Suit said.

It took several hours to get the fire under control and the body was discovered about 8 a.m.
