OKLAHOMA CITY — Four Oklahoma prison inmates remain hospitalized with stab wounds after a series of fights broke out at three separate prisons.

Department of Corrections spokesman Jerry Massie says all four inmates from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite were in stable condition Monday.

Meanwhile, Massie says medium-security prisons across the state remain on lockdown status, which limits inmate movement inside the facilities.

A total of six inmates were transported to hospitals after fights erupted Saturday at the Granite prison, the Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy and the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing.

Massie says the fights were between American Indian and Hispanic inmates and authorities believe the attacks were coordinated.

Some guy might be in prison for writing bad checks or a DUI, but you think we should just "let them bleed", You're quite the piece of work rusty...

Hey Skip, don't do the crime if you can't do the time which includes all of the fun activities. Such as gang fighting, new love life etc....

Seems to me that the troubling part of this report is that the attacks were coordinated.

If these morons would spend as much time on their education while in prison they might actually have a chance at a better life once released. Someone fairly close to me is in prison for multiple DUIs and drug posession, I would hate to think he could be murdered for a substance abuse problem...

All these conflicts are gang related. The IBH=Indian Brotherhood is led by one person. The Mexican gangs are divided inito clicks or sets.
