OKLAHOMA CITY - Officials are investigating a possible link between weekend fights at three prisons and the arrest of a man accused of shooting, stabbing and then burning a man and three women in a southwest Oklahoma City house Nov. 9.

On Friday, prosecutors filed six first-degree murder counts against an David Allen Tyner, an American Indian. They accuse him of killing a Hispanic man he once worked for as a bodyguard, the three women and two unborn children.

The following day, a series of fights between American Indians and Hispanics broke out in three prisons across the state.

Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel said he received information that Saturday prison fights in Granite, Hominy and Cushing were linked to the deaths. The fights sent six inmates to hospitals.

Too bad the six in the hospital didn't wind up like the crispy critters in the house. Fewer vermin to deal with.

Is this "special" judge afraid to meet in person? Video hearings are a direct violation of the right to due process.

fld11: There you go again. Spouting off about something you know little about. Let's see, who are we going to believe on this legal question: the Judge, or fld11. That's a no brainer, dufus.

To slingshot, How rude and desrespectful of you. These men were tried and convicted and were paying their dues to society. They are brothers, dads, uncles and Sons they have families just like you . You should be careful what you write the sorrow could well become yours in a split second. To judge another will bring judgement upon yourself what secrets do you hide? Have you never made a mistake? Or maybe you do bad things and just not caught?
