I-35 reopened near Billings

BILLINGS — Interstate 35 near Billings has been re-opened after multiple wrecks forced closures in both directions today for nearly two hours.

The highway was shut down near the Billings exit, about 15 miles south of Ponca City, from about 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. It was not immediately clear if anyone was hurt in the crashes.

The area is near a construction zone, so troopers expect traffic to move slowly in both directions for "quite awhile."
