OKLAHOMA CITY — Fraudsters and failed business owners top the list of the highest tax delinquencies in the state, with one man owing more than $112 million.

The state Tax Commission on Nov. 2 began posting outstanding tax warrants online. The top 100 delinquencies listed on the agency's Web site include individuals and businesses owing more than $25,000 in back taxes, penalties and interest. All have had tax liens filed against them, said Paula Ross, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

"It's a cyber-shame thing," Ross said. "It might not work for all, but if it does for some we can rightfully collect what's owed the state."

The top 10 highest tax delinquencies total $132 million in uncollected debts to the state. In addition, there are 35 individuals and businesses each owing more than $1 million in tax, interest and penalties.

If they were to extend the list to last. How many hundreds of millions are the citizens of Oklahoma due?

Post the website. Why don't they go after these people? Perhaps they should do another one of their amnesty offers to get them to pay up without all the back interest. OK needs the money.
