Tulsa Public Schools on Friday announced the dates of new H1N1 vaccine clinics for students and employees at 10 school sites.
Pam Butler, director of health services for TPS, said the district is receiving shipments of vaccine from the state, as well as some from the Tulsa City-County Health Department.
“We were the only district in Tulsa County that requested any vaccine. We are trying to help keep our kids as healthy as possible,” Butler said.
Vaccines will be available from 9 a.m. to noon on the following dates:
Dec. 1
at Eugene Field Elementary School, 2249 S. Phoenix Ave.
Dec. 3
at Chouteau Elementary School, 575 N. 39th West Ave.
Dec. 4
at MacArthur Elementary School, 2182 S. 73rd East Ave.
Dec. 8
at McClure Elementary School, 1770 E. 61st St.
Dec. 9
at Webster High School, 1919 W. 40th St.
Dec. 10
at Madison Middle School, 4132 W. Cameron St.
Dec. 11
at Mitchell Elementary School, 733 N. 73rd East Ave.
Dec. 15
at Hale High School, 6960 E. 21st St.
Dec. 16
at Marshall Elementary School, 1142 E. 56th St.
Dec. 17
at Cherokee Elementary School, 6001 N. Peoria Ave.
Vaccinations will only be made available to enrolled students and employees at the selected sites. Students ages 9 or younger will require a second vaccination dose 28 days after the first dose.
Tulsa Public Schools officials said two consent forms are required for students and employees to receive the vaccination. They will soon be available for downloading online at
