The Tulsa County Election Board announced plans Tuesday to make results from next week's elections more readily available to the public and media.

Tulsa County Commissioner Fred Perry and Election Board Secretary Patty Bryant said returns will be continuously updated and posted on the county's Web site and distributed through Facebook and Twitter throughout the evening of Nov. 10.

"We are very excited about this opportunity," said Bryant. "We are trying to bridge the gap between the state election board's system from the late 1980s and early 1990s to the tools that are available now."
