An arraignment scheduled Monday for first-degree murder defendant John Robert Kastner was postponed until Dec. 22.

Kastner, a former Webster High School teacher, is accused of murdering his wife, former Oklahoma Supreme Court attorney Lori Moon Kastner, on June 25 at their home in the 3800 block of South Union Avenue.

Lori Kastner, 44, was found dead in bed at their home. She had been shot twice in the head.

Kastner, 51, is being held without bail in the Tulsa Jail. Tulsa County District Judge Clancy Smith also scheduled a hearing on motions for Dec. 22.

Kastner maintains that he is innocent, his defense attorney has said.

Why????? Maybe Judge Otey would like to grant bail to this wife killer as she did for the young man who intentionally hit and killed the two people in Brookside with his car.
