GEARY — A Chickasha man was killed Saturday in a one-vehicle accident in Blaine County.

Charles Craig Brown, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on a county road known as “Cemetery Road” five miles west of Geary, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

According to the report, Brown was traveling westbound at an unsafe speed when he failed to negotiate a left turn around 4:51 p.m. The vehicle departed the roadway, rolled 3/4 times and came to rest on its left side.

Brown was ejected from the vehicle and pinned for about two hours, the report said.

He was not wearing a seat belt.
