Bristow teen killed in Creek County crash

A Bristow teenager was killed when her car veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into a pickup Monday afternoon.
Tiffany Plum, 16, was driving east on Oklahoma 66 near 449th West Avenue in Creek County when her 2005 Pontiac Sunfire ran off the road about 3:15 p.m. The car veered into the oncoming lane when she overcorrected, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The car then struck a 1999 Ford Ranger driven by Charles Stone, 28, of Kellyville. Plum was trapped in the wreckage about 15 minutes and died at the scene, troopers said.
Medics took Stone to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he was treated and released. A passenger, 3-year-old Caleb Stone, also of Kellyville, was hospitalized with head and internal injuries, the OHP reported.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt, and Caleb was in a child restraint, troopers said.
