A Ponca City woman was killed Tuesday when her car was struck by a truck after she failed to yield from a stop sign, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Margaret Miller, 78, was pronounced dead at a Ponca City hospital after the Osage County crash, the OHP reported.

Troopers said a westbound 1994 Peterbilt truck, driven by Wilfred Waggoner, 52, of Billings, struck Miller’s northbound 2005 Buick LeSabre when Miller pulled onto U.S. 60 from City View Road, east of Ponca City, just after 1 p.m.

Both Miller and Waggoner were wearing seat belts, and the truck driver was not injured, the OHP reported.
