Amanda Douglas’ father is confident he knows who killed his daughter, and he believes it’s the same man his daughter filed three petitions for protective orders against within the last year.

and Gina, I was there the whole time. from the beginning of their relationship to the end and I can tell you she had to stay with him. I was in her shoes at one time. all she wanted was to live her life, and raise her daughter away from drugs and violence.

I am amanda's mother. I am severely heart broken at the loss of my youngest daughter. why couldn't larry separate from my daughter like he did his other wives? she was getting her life together. she was scared of not being perfect. not letting the baby cry> the bathtub always being clean.which shirts to be dried. his food being the right temperature.couldnt leave the house without an escourt. she couldn't leave with the baby by herself, and if she did only had a certain amount of time to get back or get beaten. these are only a few things she had to tolerate in order to be with her baby. he isolated her from her family. and larry? where is my bullet?. you said you had enough money to put a bullet in all of us. I was on the phone with Amanda when you said it.

    Liar? Prove it!

Anyway I won the first round with you Laura. People sometimes get mad when they are losing the argument.

We are ONLY reading subjective feelings of the family and court records (public information) dated back in 2006 and further. Unfortunately, and understandably, the victims past was not dredged up. This is a tragic situation for all. The baby shared by these two is, and was, with Mr. Douglas. The state does not leave children in violent, aggressive homes. Sadly, Mrs Douglas was on drugs and court records (unavailable to public) prove that. Lets be a little slower with judgment. Many, many victims in this situation with absolutely NO facts besides 8 year old records. People change. Prayers to all involved.

You actually don't hear very well do you? ...It was last week the TW ran articles on abused women. And yes I do partly blame women for staying in those relationships. In this case Amanda, was trying to get away from her abuser. One she should have never gotten herself into. Douglas criminal history is there for anyone who wants to look. I am sure she was well aware of.

You haven't been on this forum long enough to know who I am. And I'm still not sure if you are not hiding behind a screen. People like you generally like to hide when they insult people...Small minded? Right back at you.

Douglas, may not have actually pulled the trigger. Looking at his record, he's a bad dude and you can bet he's connected to the murders. Why a woman would even keep company with someone of his caliber is beyond me?
