Bruce:

I had that same thought after the sky brightened on the day that Wayman passed away. He made Tulsa and Oklahoma very proud. His portrait should hang in the state Capital next to those of other great people who have elevated the image of the Sooner state across the nation.

Perfect, Bruce! Lucky for us he turned that smile into music, music we can still listen to, even though he is now longer with us. Loved him!

Excellent, Bruce!

Wayman taught many of us the power of ivories over evil...

Bless and Keep him, Lord. He placed the hoop high.

To tell you the truth I really hoped that you would draw something up to that effect when I bought the paper on Sunday. Thanks for drawing what we all were thinking.

About a year or so ago I used to see Wayman walk LaFortune Park trail. When I greeted him he was always smiling with kindness. Will be missed.

What an inspiration to all of those who face adversity everyday of their lives. Even to the very end his smile was infectious and far reaching and gave hope to the seemingly hopeless. This man, ladies and gentleman, was the embodiment of true Christianity. May we all strive to live up to his legacy. Thank you Wayman for all that you did for your fellow man. Now go make God smile.
