William Thomas Bill Nix

 
NIX - William Thomas (Bill), 77, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2009, in Tulsa, OK. He was born in Kansas City, KS on July 17, 1932, to the late John Thomas Nix and Cleo Evelyn (Cox) Nix. Bill received a Degree in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma University. He retired after over 25 years of working for Eli Lilly as a pharmaceutical representative. A member of the First Presbyterian Church and was involved in their Habitat for Humanity program. Preceded in death by two brothers. Survived by: his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty Jean (Anderson) Nix; three daughters, Jan Nix, S J Lewis and Angela Swihart and seven grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. Family suggests contributions in Bill's memory be made to First Presbyterian Church or Habitat for Humanity. Condolences may be left online at www.freemanharris com.
