Kaiser money brings grants - 8/17/2009 8:40:52 AM
Socialism??? I think a more fitting term would be "forward thinking."

The Kaiser Foundation does heaps of good for our fair city.

I'd also would like to hear from naysayers exactly what THEY have done to create jobs and clean up our urban environment???

No comment war to be had here with me, I've got to get to work now.

Oorah!!!

Two bicyclists killed on highway - 6/10/2009 12:32:14 PM
My thoughts are with the families and friends of these cyclists. We should ALL pay more attention to those around us while on the roads: the lack of focus while propelling a vehicle is indicative of our selfishness and lack of regard for fellow man.
Nice link. Heh.
I can't believe that with all the REAL problems in the world today, that people actually give a flying flip who shacks up with who.
Streaking at the Center - 2/11/2009 11:12:14 AM
It would be interesting to see if the panel manufacturer, Zahner out of Kansas City, has had similar "streaking" problems on other structures. I googled it a bit and didn't find much in a public domain.
Webmeister, the perimeter room lights are left on all night, every night. It's rather aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion. The building is quite efficient, actually, and although I'm all for going green I think the lights being left on at night is a drop in the AEP bill bucket. And no, I'm not a city employee.
I looked at the national organization's website...shows a photo of a burning of Anne Frank's Diary at a Jefferson City rally...nice folks, tsk. Did they get a permit for that fire, I wonder??
WOW! Kudos to you, George!
Tulsa Bank of America robbed - 1/22/2009 5:45:46 PM
Have That, hilarious comment: "instead of bank robberies they should call them an 'illegal individual economic bailouts.'" Heh.
Rockin' good news! Wanda is a great lady and has deserved this for a while!!! Thanks for spreading the word for voting on this a few months back: the people's voices were heard!
