While I have no problem with providing care to veterans, in fact, I am all for it; I do take extreme offense that they rejected his ammendment. For decades, the Senate has been running wild with taxpayer money, creating legislation with no way to fund it. I also hold objection to excluding older veterans from this bill. All veterans need help, not just recent ones.I do completely agree with the UN being a corrupt, wasteful organization. Cudos to Coburn for attempting to create some fiscal responsibility. Maybe now his actions are a little more clear. Instead of blindly bashing his resistance to the bill, it can be seen WHY he was holding it up.
Some homes also still have their furnace, washer/dryer & hot water heater in the garage.
Just1man, if you dont pay taxes, the IRS seizes everything you have left, simple as that. Then the govt can own everything...
& I completely respect your right to believe that. I would hope others can say the same, but as 'certain' posters on here show, many do not. Id like to believe most of us are mature enough to respect that.
Good luck with that my view, they're all corrupt. Im sure the good Corp. Commission gets plenty out of it as well, in one for or another.

I agree with you on most points but cant bring myself to believe this one when too much science points to otherwise.But I have respect for those that do.Its a very personal decision & belief.

Ive explained this a few times. LOL, flying the flag upside down is not a manner of disrespect. it is a nationally known symbol of when your country is in distress. Id have to say our country is in dire distress right now.
