Fusion music act Elmwood will return to Tulsa for a headliner show, just weeks after opening for a near sold-out crowd, industry tour tracker Pollstar Pro reports.
This time, it will play 8 p.m. Dec. 9 on Bob's Side Stage at Cain's Ballroom.
The band has toured in recent months with O.A.R., and sat in with the likes of Blues Traveler.
The band's official MySpace says admission for the Cain's show is $7, and a discount will be offered for those who bring in their O.A.R. ticket stubs from the band's Oct. 27 show at Cain's Ballroom. Elmwood opened that show.
Elmwood fuses many genres to make its unique sound. Drummer Donnie Marple, and Saxophonist Derek Haight bring jazz and Caribbean backgrounds fuse with Rusty Kelly's bluegrass/Dave Matthews-style guitar and Nash Johnson's funk rhythms and melodic solos.
