If you are a professional woman in communications, this is for you.

The Association for Women in Communications invites women interested in meeting other communications professionals from the Tulsa area, while advancing their knowledge of the communications profession, to attend an Open House beginning at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Harwelden, 2210 S. Main St.

Those attending will be able to meet current AWC members while familiarizing themselves with the organization and the benefits of membership. The AWC Open House is free to guests and members.

Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served. RSVP to Sharlaran@cox.net.

The Association for Women in Communications is the prevailing communications organization for those working and serving in diverse, but related, communications professions. AWC is dedicated to leading progressive change in the communications professions through information exchange, leadership, professional development, mentoring and technology.

With more than 150 members, the Tulsa AWC is the second largest chapter in the United States.
