Carrie Underwood's "Just a Dream" was named No. 1 for the year's best country music videos by CMT.

The Checotah-girl-turned-"American Idol" snagged top honors on CMT's list for her heart-wrenching video tale of a young bride whose love dies serving his country.

She beat out popular videos from Sugarland, Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins and Taylor Swift for the top spot.

Underwood also earned the title of "most-streamed" artist on CMT.com in 2008, with the video for "All-American Girl," which boasted more than 1.4 million streams for the year.

Underwood will be performing at the People's Choice Awards on Jan. 7.

The ceremony will be at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and broadcast on CBS.

I think Carrie is the best artist I have ever seen or heard. She also has a great personality and is such a hard worker. She cares about her fans and is so professional in everything she does!
