'American Idol' superstar David Cook plans Nov. 6 Oklahoma concert

Former Tulsa bartender, musician and "American Idol" winner David Cook will perform at the FireLake Grand Events Center on Nov. 6 in Shawnee.
Showtime is 7 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $44-$47, available via

Born in Houston and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri, within a week of his 2008 "American Idol" win, he had 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs chart and 11 on the Hot 100.
The seventh-season “American Idol” winner played a sold-out homecoming show at the historic Cain’s Ballroom in June.
The Casino is located just east of Oklahoma City on Interstate 40 at Exit 178.

David Cook was the only reason I ever watched Idol. Was flipping around one night and saw him and ended up watching that season. Never watched before or since. Kid's got talent.

oh RomeosTune, that's what people said two years ago and alas here he is two yrs later "Hotter, sexier and more popular than ever--he's in demand all over the world. He's has a long extended tour which started in Feb 09 and will end on Dec 31 (which is sold out)and he hasn't been to Europe yet Plus--his album went platinum in two and 1/2 months and his first two singles were platinum in less- than-a-year and his current singles are ready to go platinum. He puts on one hell of a rock show and you are exausted when you leave his concert. So I'd he's going to be around for a long time
