Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College rounds out its "Concert on the Lawn" with Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Famer Earl Clark, noon Thursday outside the Fine Arts Center at the college in Miami, 200 I Street, NE.
In October, NEO A&M College also named Clark Outstanding Alum for the School of Fine Arts. A musician for 35 years, Clark is a former drum major for the NEO Band.
His career as a saxophonist has given him the opportunity to open for international stars that include Spyro Gyra, B. B. King, Tito Puente and Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Lawn chairs are welcome at the outdoor event. For more information, contact Christen Stark, director of NEO A&M College public relations and marketing, at cstark@neo.edu.
