The Billy Joel & Elton John "Face 2 Face" tour stop for Nov. 25 at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City has been rescheduled, the venue confirmed in an e-mail to the Tulsa World.
The new date will be 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City.
All tickets for the originally-scheduled concert are valid for the rescheduled show. If necessary, refunds are available at point of purchase, the venue confirmed.
No reason was given for the rescheduled Oklahoma City tour date.
Reports Pollstar online: "However, recent postponements have been attributed to Joel suffering from, well, something."
Earlier this month, John also rescheduled several shows on the West Coast as part of his "Face 2 Face" tour with Joel.
He was out on doctor's orders, and hospitalized with e.coli and flu infections, John and his publicist confirmed.
The 62-year-old announced on his official Website that he has been forced to yank more shows on doctor's orders after being hospitalized with "a serious case of e-coli bacterial infection and influenza."

calloy said: . . . "trying to shame the hicks out of making fun of elton's lifestyle"
And with that blanket, disdainful, reference to those who think differently from you, your own intolerance on display.

Saw this show in Tulsa whenever that was, good show but I was so far up in nosebleed I would have been more comfortable at home watching the DVD on the tube.

If you have not seen Elton or Billy, alone or togther, they put on a great show. Their music and talent is still as good as it was in the beginning, maybe even better.

It's kind of like putting unleaded fuel in a Diesel truck. It will shut it down and kill it. The body's the same way. You start doing things to it that it's not designed for and it will eventually shut down.

I'm disappointed the show is postponed because I was looking forward to it... However, there is a silver lining, as my Thanksgiving week just got a little less hectic! :-)

Now, Now, I think you're confusing prejudice with facts. I'm sorry, but you seem to be a very angry and lonely soul that doesn't like views that differ from your own. I only say lonely because of the more than 65 comments you've made on the boards just today and angry, due to all of the negativity you continue to espouse. I'm just sayin'.

Awe. Just when it looked as if you were fairly intelligent and you lower yourself to such a sophomoric replication.

You are obviously a very disturbed and confused individual. However there is help available for you if you'll just ask for it.

calloy - Evidently you got up on the way-wrong side of bed this morning.
I may not like your point of view, but I try not to indulge in useless ad hominen retort. I'll protest your insulting harangues, but won't throw an ugly label on you in the doing. (although 'sneering elitist' is such a perfect fit, I'm terribly tempted . . . oops) *G*

They put on a good show here in Tulsa. I would have liked to have better seats though. I'm sure a lot of people were disappointed by the rescheduling.
