Guitar legends Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck are officially reuniting for a tour.

Industry tracker Pollstar Pro online confirms three North American tour dates have been added since Monday: Feb. 20 in New York, Feb. 21 in Toronto, Ontario, and Feb. 22 in Montreal, Quebec.

So far, only those three dates have been confirmed, but the dates are enough to stoke hopes of a larger U.S. tour in 2010.

These new shows are added to the previously announced Feb. 13-14 concert appearances at London's 02 Arena.

Details about the new shows have not been announced.

Earlier this year in Tokyo, a joint portion of the Clapton-Beck concert included songs "Want To Take You Higher," "Outside Woman Blues," "Wee Baby" and "Brown Bird," sources report.

The pair were both in the 1960s English band The Yardbirds, but never performed together. Beck replaced Clapton in 1965. However, they have been friends since the 1960s. Beck was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two separate times. Clapton is the only musician in the hall's history to be inducted three times.

Beck's newst release "Live at Ronnie Scotts DVD," has gone platinum in the United States, Canada and Japan.

Clapton's newest "Crossroads Guitar Festival" DVD went multiplatinum in the United States, selling more than 2 million copies. He recently finished a sold-out North American tour with former Blind Faith bandmate Steve Winwood.

Let's just hope they are touring with Tal Wilkenfeld, that HOT little female bass player in Beck's road band.

Also, it will be good to see them together. Clapton is great live, but having Beck to push him will make it better. Check out Stevie Ray and Beck together on youtube some time.

Wow!

If I see EC in 2010 he will be the only artist I have seen in five different decades. What a gift to popular music he has been.

Two of the best in our time. There are other great guitarist but these two have been knwn to many generations of fans and still perform today.

It would be a mistake to leave out Pete Townshend, Steve Howe (left hand of God), Joe Walsh or Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser. And, by God, Believe it or not, Lindsey Buckingham can do magic also.
