Rocklahoma organizers are looking for their "Miss Rocklahoma."
“Miss Rocklahoma” must be a lady who exhibits a true passion for '80s metal," music festival organizers said in a Tuesday morning press release.
The winner will win an all access and two VIP Passes for all four days of Rocklahoma. Five runners-up will receive two all access passes and VIP privileges for opening night of Rocklahoma. The festival is July 9-12 at the Fever Fest grounds north of Pryor.
The top 10 will be chosen by a panel of judges. The 10 finalist profiles will appear on the Rocklahoma Web site where rock fans from across the world will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite.
The top five contestant will be chosen by online voting. Those five will appear live on stage Thursday night, when the winner will be announced and crowned as “Miss Rocklahoma.”
Entrants must e-mail a recent photo to
tulsaworld.com/feverfest
and fill out the online questionnaire. Women must be over 21 and already have tickets to Rocklahoma. All entries must be received by midnight of June 22.
The Miss Rocklahoma contest is not just about beauty and sexuality, organizers said, but about an energizing, fun-loving and amiable individual who truly represents and encapsulates the spirit of what Rocklahoma is all about.
