Happy Birthday
Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat? No? OK, how about a Mooseberry fudge birthday cake for "Rocky & Bullwinkle"? Thursday is the 50th anniversary of Jay Ward's animated moose and squirrel which debuted on ABC in 1959 and aired on network TV until 1973 before moving into syndication. Together, America's funniest animated pair battled the no-goodniks, Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, with their sidekicks Dudley Do-Right, Peabody and Sherman, and Aesop and Son.
