CLASSIC BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
- 3/4 cup(s) butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup(s) shortening
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 4 cup(s) confectioner's sugar
- 2 tablespoon(s) milk (more or less for consistency)
1. Cream butter and shortening with electric mixer. Add vanilla. Gradually fold in sugar while beating on medium. Add milk for consistency.
You can add more confectioner's sugar and less milk for stiffer frosting.
