Caramel Corn

Ingredients

2 cup(s) brown sugar

2 sticks butter

1 teaspoon(s) salt

1/4 cup(s) corn syrup

1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda

cup(s) air-popped corn

3 cup(s) pecans or any nut you like

Directions

1. Add first four ingredients to a non-stick saucepan, (You will be glad you used this when clean-up comes around.)

2. Bring mixture to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda, stir quickly and smoothly. Mixture will foam up after soda is added. Pour over popcorn and pecans in a large roasting pan that is lined with parchment paper, stir to coat evenly.

3. Place in 250-degree oven for 1 hour. Stir popcorn every 15 minutes. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
