When Tulsa mom MC Swab was about to become an empty nester, she “realized I had left myself way behind” and decided it was her turn to chase a dream. She started a blog at flythecoop.tv and became an Adventure Correspondent, reporting on people’s seemingly bizarre passions, from Barbie dolls to rattlesnakes.
“When my youngest moved out, I suddenly had more time to read the Tulsa World each morning,” says MC. “I’m really into the human interest stories. I find great ideas for my video blogs, and it keeps me plugged in.”
