In regards to a Jan. 20 article about the three city workers who feel slighted for their good deeds:
Yes, they did a commendable and honorable thing. They did the right thing. But do we have to be rewarded for doing the right thing?
There are many people who do the right thing every day, because it is the right thing, not because they want to be publicly recognized or financially rewarded.
Many servicemen and women and veterans have never received recognition for what they have done, but you don't hear them whining!
