John Mark Eddings and Alice
Faye Eddings of Bixby
celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary Aug. 31, 2008.
They were honored with a
reception Aug. 30, 2008, in
Bixby. The event was hosted by
their children.
The couple married Aug. 31,
1958, in Henryetta. They have
four children: Mark Eddings
and wife Tally of Mountain
Home, Ark.; Jennifer Watkins
and husband Joe of Bixby;
David Eddings and wife Sarah
of Broken Arrow; and Daniel
Eddings and wife Autumn of
Bixby. They have 10 grandchildren.
John Eddings retired January
1988 after 29 years with Tulsa
Public Schools. He was a
principal. Alice Eddings retired
August 1994 after 27 years with
Tulsa Public Schools. She was a
teacher.
