Authorities have released the names of one person who was killed and two who were injured in an automobile accident on the Inner Dispersal Loop on Thanksgiving Day.
Gary Wade McDaniel, 32, of New Braunfels, Texas, died at the scene of the crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
McDaniel lost control of a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup on Interstate 244 near the Tisdale Parkway about 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27, and the pickup overturned, the OHP reported.
Neither he nor his passengers, Robert Nelson, 40, and Tim Atkins, 31, both of Tulsa, were wearing seat belts, and all were partially ejected, troopers said.
Nelson had a head injury, and Atkins had head, arm and internal injuries, according to the OHP.
Both men were taken to St. John Medical Center, authorities said.
