House fire causes $65,000 in damage

An electrical problem may be to blame for a house fire that caused at least $65,000 in damage to a Tulsa home Thursday.
Firefighters arrived to the home in the 3900 block of North Winston Avenue about 8:15 a.m., Capt. Michael Baker said.
Crews were able to save the contents of the single-story home by containing the fire to the attic area.
The three residents were able to escape without injury, Baker said. They are being assisted by the Tulsa Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
