Oklahoma has reportedly received a verbal commitment from Trey Millard, a linebacker at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Mo.
According to Scout.com and Rivals.com, Millard pledged to OU on Tuesday. Millard is a three-star Scout.com linebacker and a four-star Rivals.com tight end. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, Millard reportedly chose OU over Iowa and Tennessee. He also had offers from South Carolina, Stanford, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas.
Scout.com ranks Millard as the nation's 17th best high school prospect at middle linebacker, while Rivals.com has him ranked as the No. 13 tight end in the country.
He is the Sooners' 22nd verbal commitment. Verbal commitments are non-binding. Prospects can sign letters of intent beginning on National Signing Day on Feb. 3.
