A Cleveland County woman has died of swine flu, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths to the novel H1N1 virus in Oklahoma to six.
In its latest report, the Oklahoma State Department of Health said the woman had an underlying medical condition that put her at greater risk for complications or death.
The death of a Tulsa teenager was also included among the deaths in the week that ended Oct. 3.
The Oklahoma City-County Health Department confirmed Wednesday that an Oklahoma County woman has died from the swine flu. She also had an underlying medical condition. That woman's death was not included in the state's latest report.
